About iMouse GmbH
At iMouse GmbH, we are pioneering the digital transformation of preclinical in vivo science. Our intelligent home cage systems enable objective, continuous, and noninvasive observation of laboratory animals in their natural environment, driving forward ethical, reproducible, and high-quality research.
Our vision is to redefine how in-vivo data is collected and interpreted, empowering scientists, technicians, and institutions to discover more precise and valid datasets by reducing the human influence and therefore the human bias.
We are a science-driven startup with academic roots. We are currently scaling our impact through strategic partnerships, cutting-edge technology, and innovative use cases in pharma, biotech, and preclinical research.
Your Role
As a Scientist (preclinical in vivo research/Home Cage Monitoring), you will play a central role at the interface of product innovation, community building, and scientific application. You will work cross-functionally with researchers, technicians, developers, and external partners to explore, define, and implement new use cases that expand the impact of our system.
This dynamic role is for a structured, communicative, and visionary individual who thrives on transforming scientific challenges into innovative digital solutions.

- Translate scientific requirements & feedback into structured product specifications.
- Work closely with our computer vision & software development teams to prioritize new features and improvements.
- Support the roadmap development for new modules, algorithms, and interfaces.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific quality and documentation standards (e.g., animal welfare regulations, GLP alignment, REACH, 3R principles).
Project Management / Use Case Development
- Identify and manage co-development and pilot project opportunities with research institutions and pharma partners.
- Plan and oversee project lifecycles: from idea validation to execution and evaluation.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including tech, regulatory, and science teams.
Community Management
- Build, grow, and engage a network of users, researchers, technicians, and stakeholders in in vivo research.
- Organize and facilitate user feedback loops (interviews, surveys, workshops).
- Curate and manage an online knowledge platform (iMouseBrain process portal, community portal, case study database, discussion forum).
Represent iMouse in user communities, at conferences, digital events, and with new possible customers.
