Our iMouse solution in a nutshell
HARDWARE the iMouse DigiFrame is a retrofit solution, providing 24/7 observation. Transforming existing home-cages to scalable DHC (Digital Home-Cages). The own developed hardware is not influencing the handling processes in animal laboratories, because of integration in existing home-cage racks.
The fundament consists of a observation unit (a camera with integrated IR functionality to observe rodents at their active phase) paired with a compute unit (the brain for data transport and pre-processing).

PLATFORM iMouseHub simply enables the scientist and researcher to reduce the human influence by not being in the laboratory. Therefore access on cage level, via cameras to different perspectives is in focus to generate digital, reproduceable and sharable data. The scientist has the possibility to access the platform via direct connection (next door), the intranet (within customer’s environment or the internet (e.g.: home office or weekends).
Part of the platform is the user management, to allow access to the right scientists at the right time.
The data processing starts by using zones for data-reduction and to spot only the active phase of the rodent. The filters helping within the experiment management to finally get statistics.
